Gala Champagne Evening Friday 28th September 6.30pm -9.00pm

A glittering evening of the finer things of life surrounded by some of the finest antiques on the market today. The 2007 Harrogate Antique Fair will be officially opened by the Country Life cartoonist, Annie Tempest, the creator of the internationally acclaimed cartoon strip, Tottering-by-Gently. Annie, whose family have lived in Broughton Hall near Skipton, the Tempest ancestral home for over 900 years, will be on the O’Shea Gallery stand for the duration of the Fair, signing her original watercolours, personalising her numbered edition prints and her latest book “At Home with Totterings”.

Hosted by: Macmillan Cancer Support and The Harrogate Antique Fair Champagne will be served and collecting boxes rattled with gusto by members of the National Youth Theatre. Proceeds at the gala will aid the work of Macmillan Cancer Support in this area.
